CERTIFIED PAIN REPROCESSING THERAPY COACH
I’m a pain recovery coach, a mom, and a tennis coach, and my passion is helping people break free from chronic mind-body pain—the same way I did. Too many people are suffering from chronic pain who do not need to be, and it’s my mission to guide them toward lasting relief.
My journey into this work began with my own struggle and recovery from chronic pain, often called Tension Myositis Syndrome (TMS), Neuroplastic Pain, or Mind-Body Pain. Through that experience, I discovered something powerful: our brains can sometimes send pain signals even when the body is healthy, or after an injury has healed. The good news? We can retrain the brain to interpret those signals correctly. I’ve walked this path myself, and I’m here to help you do the same.
CHRONIC PAIN RECOVERY COACHING
How long do you want to suffer? Let’s get curious and explore why you are In pain, and come up with your path out together.
I help those suffering to understand that their brains can be retrained to stop signaling pain where it's not needed, and to walk alongside them on their healing journey.
WHAT IS PAIN RECOVERY COACHING?
Pain Recovery Coaching helps people rewire their relationship with pain using neuroscience-based tools, mind-body strategies, and supportive coaching. The goal is not just to "manage" pain but to promote actual healing and recovery by addressing how the brain and nervous system contribute to persistent pain.
WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS APPROACH?
Those who are open to the idea that the brain and nervous system play a role in chronic pain. Anyone with chronic pain can benefit from this approach; however, I specialize in treating chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, multiple chemical sensitivities, pelvic pain, head pain, and sports injuries that become chronic.
WHAT DOES PAIN RECOVERY COACHING ENTAIL?
Learn to stop fearing your pain, trust your body, and begin moving again. Explore how personality traits and old coping patterns perpetuate the dysregulation of your nervous system, which can lead to pain. Learn to tame the inner critical voice and cultivate positive feelings, and explore how to start living the life you love.

MY CHRONIC PAIN RECOVERY STORY
How I Found Freedom
I came to this work through my own healing journey with chronic pain. I had many symptoms over three decades, so I know that it hurts, it’s uncomfortable, and uproots people’s lives.
The good news is that my life has become deeply rooted again, and yours can be, too. I suffered from chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, back pain, head pain, chemical sensitivities, insomnia, and several other symptoms for decades. It began when I worked in retail management after college, working over eighty hours a week.
Severe back pain was my first disabling symptom before the indescribable fatigue hit. I ended up leaving my career, and my life became about trying to find a diagnosis and then trying to heal from whatever symptoms I had at the time.
You are familiar with this story—the unending search for a cause. I was so happy when I was finally diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome. I thought I had a virus that would eventually go dormant or that a cure would be found.
Several years later, after searching for answers, I began looking into the mind-body connection. I found an app called “Curable.” After a couple of months, I knew that I had TMS. My brain was causing my pain and discomfort, not my body. My brain had learned pain. This is a very common occurrence, and the good news is that it can be reversed. We can teach our brain to unlearn pain.
I am also a tennis instructor and high school coach, where I have seen firsthand how sports injuries can linger after the body has healed, preventing athletes from performing to their best ability. I prefer to consider the whole person, not just one body part. What, if looking at mind, body, and spirit, is holding this person back? What, at the root, is perpetuating pain? This is the approach I used to heal, and that I take with my clients.
This is not an easy journey, but it is a life-changing one. My life is better now than it was before the pain. I was homebound for years, and am now doing all the things I love. This journey has no end. It is so rich that you will want to continue taking it even after your symptoms have gone.
If I was able to recover from the multitude of symptoms that I had, you can too!
“Love yourself as you would your neighbor.”
